ReadyNAS Duo v2 / WD RED 3TB x 2 / Erase Volume
Have a new ReadyNas Duo v2 and 2 x Western Digital RED 3TB drives. Orginally setup as Flex-Raid (RAID1). Running latest firmware 5.3.7. Trying to Erase Volume. Why? With my other ReadyNases I...
The problem is that you have a duo v1. A duo v2 would run 5.3.x firmware.

It only recognises 746gb!
Fw is 4.1.12 which it automatically downloaded from netgear.

Your v1 is limited to 2 TB drives. So you either need to downgrade the drive size or upgrade the NAS. If you upgrade the NAS don't go with a duo v2, get an RN102 instead.
