Well, the NV+ (either kind) only has 4 slots, and you are proposing 7!
So let's change the question slightly. Assuming a 6-slot unit (Pro6 or ultra6)
(a) start with 2x2TB
(b) Add 2 more 2 TB
(c) add 2 more 3 TB
With single redundancy XRAID2:
1. after (a) you have 2 TB of available space. The second drive provides redundancy
2. after (b) you have 6 TB of available space
3. After (c) you have 11 TB of available space (you now need 3 TB for redundancy).
However, step (c) would take you over an obscure expansion limit: you can't expand more than 8 TB from your starting point - in this example 2 TB. So as part of (c) you would need to do a factory reset with all drives in place, and then recover the data from backups. Hopefully there will be a fix at some point to eliminate the need for the extra factory default. But at present, the factory reset would be needed.
Though perhaps you meant (a) (b) and (c) to be alternatives, not sequential steps???
If so,
4. with 4x2 TB drives you have 6 TB total available space
5. with 3x2 TB drives you have 4 TB total available space
6. with 2x2 TB, 2x3 TB you have 7 TB total available space.
