Ok upping my spend a little
How about
Netgear ReadyNAS Ultra 4 £295
http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/6372069 ... u4000.html
vrs
SYNOLOGY Disk Station DS-411J £269
http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/7726318 ... j-nas.html
(I realise this is a Readynas forum, so slight bias....)
I will most likely sell my original NAS or give to my dad.
They seem similar, with the Synology getting slightly better reviews for the interface.
Thoughts?
Something to think about
SYNOLOGY Disk Station DS-411J
CPU Marvell Kirkwood mv6281 1.2Ghz ARM Processor
Memory 128MB
Netgear ReadyNAS Ultra 4
CPU Intel Atom Dual Core 1.8GHz
Memory 1GB
Edit: for another £26 the ultra is a much better option imo as the SYNOLOGY Disk Station DS-411J is really in the same class as the NV+ v2
