Readynas duo v2 serial number restore

Hello,

I've got two units of RND2000v2 (ReadyNAS Duo v2), and some time ago i've started experementing with debian installation on one of them. Eventually i've cleared all mtd partiotions on it. Few weeks ago I decide to restore original firmware on it via USB recovery method, but after that ReadyNAS OS stops showing device SN and no fans were detected. So, I've made dd of mtd partitions from second unit and wrote it back to faulty one.

As the result, unit boots fine, fan detected and controled automaticaly, but serial number is identical to serial number from second unit. After some research i've found that the SN and model info gathers from /proc/sys/dev/boot/info, which is in R/O mode.

And here is the question.
Is it possible to restore SN this device ?
