Hi Recently one of my 2tb became corrupted which was reported to me via email. I removed the drive, put it in an external caddy and deleted the volumes on this drive using a Windows 7 machine. ...
Apologies I didnt get a email originally - the NAS device wouldnt load after a reboot, and I managed to work out through general troubleshooting that one of the drives was causing the drama.
What vendor tools do you mean, like western digital tools to check the drive?
