Readynas Frontview inaccessible
Hey, i've got a Readynas 1100 that just recently i'm no longer able to access via Frontview. I've logged into the server via ssh and attempted to restart apache2 but got the following error: ...
I also have a Duo with 4.1.7 with a similar problem.
Last week, I could no longer access FrontView. Firefox would not connect on either port 80 or 443.
The shares were all accessible (both AFP and CIFS mount points worked).
I could copy files to and from the unit.
The network interface responded to ping.
But Raidar could not find it.
Strangely, the bittorrent admin page (at port 8080) was alive. This seems to indicate that the Apache process was alive and well and handling incoming connections on 8080.
But no FrontView, hence no way to administer to system.
I don't have SSH enabled, so no way to login as root. I suppose I should enable SSH even though this apparently invalidates the warranty.
I forced the Duo to shutdown with the front panel power switch and rebooted. That cleared the problem.
