ReadyNAS keeps disppearing from Tivo
Hi,
I have 2 Tivo Premieres in my house and for some reason, my ReadyNAS Ultra 4 Plus keeps disappering from them. I have to login to the ReadyNAS and hit the Rescan Media Files button and then it will show up on both Tivos for a period of time and then it disappears again. Anyone know how to prevent it from disappearing ? Thanks.
P.S. I am using the latest DLNA 1.0.19.3

- gregduAspirantI am having the exact same problem. I recently switched to a new netgear router (WNDR4000) and still having the same problem. I have the ReadyNAS Ultra 2 Plus. If anyone has any ideas/solutions please let us know. I have a Tivo Premiere abd a Tivo HD. the Premiere is connected wirelessly (Tivo wireless N) and the HD is hardwired. Please help as I cannot figure it out! :?
- ilkevinliAspirantJust as an update, I tried changing the notify_interval to 30 in the minidlna file and that hasn't made a difference. Both my tivos are hard wired.
- alexofindyAspirantThe same problem just started happening to me. I have a Tivo Premiere XL, and a Readynas Ultra 6 Plus, running 4.2.17 firmware.
Used to work well.
Now, all of a sudden the entry for my Readynas drops off the Tivo's "My Shows" screen. I also seem to have trouble with the archiving function (the copying of tivo shows with the "Keep until I delete" flag set to my Readynas).
I updated the ReadyDLNA service on my Readynas to version 10.0.19.3, using the add-in download on the Readynas web site. This did not help.
If I restart the ReadyDLNA service on my Readynas, the problem is fixed, but only temporarily.
The problem developed during the past week or so, during which time my Tivo updated its own firmware to version 14.8. There's a good chance this caused the problem. Can the other posters indicate if they just had a Tivo firmware update at the time the problem began? (As a note to folks reading this who are not familiar with Tivo's: Tivo's must be connected to the Internet to function, and firmware updates are controlled by Tivo's central servers. The end user has no control over when the Tivo updates its firmware, and the end user cannot go back to an earlier version of the firmware)
Thanks! - ilkevinliAspirantIts not the 14.8 update causing the problem. It started happening to me before I got the 14.8 update. Im thinking it might have been the 4.2.17 firmware update that started the issue.

Thanks! - shadesofgrey1AspirantI had the same experience right after upgrading to RAIDiator 4.2.17 from 4.2.15. I know you can't go back to 4.2.15 but I did go back to 4.2.16 and restored my TiVo's access to my ReadyNAS Ultra.
- sombra_azulAspirantSame problem here, Tivo premiere with 14.8 update, RAIDator 4.2.17 on Readynas ProPioneer. Tivo would show the NAS, but it disconnected when you tried to play a file stored on the NAS. Reverted to 4.2.16 and now it's working again.
- karenchuAspirantworking fine with new updates
- jackohoundAspirantCan anyone confirm if there was a known fix for this issue? I observe the same issue, where ReadyNAS diasppears, and I have observed that restart of the ReadyDLNA Service and/or rescanning of media files seems to make the ReadyNAS reappear on the Tivos.
Tivo#1: Tivo HD, Software version: 11.0k-01-2-652
Tivo#2: Tivo Premere, Software version: 14.9.2.2-01-2-746
ReadyNas: Ultra2 running RAIDiator 4.2.19 and ReadyTiVo 1.3.7
I also have an ongoing different problem where the ReadyNAS will archive shows from my TivoHD but not from my Tivo Premere. That problem is discussed in this thread <http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=76&t=59659&p=336433#p336433>. Above, alexofindy had reported that Archive was not working, so i wonder if others can confirm ReadNAS working with Tivo Premere? - brianjmh1AspirantI'm having the same problem with minidlna crashing with TiVo support turned on:
Crashes not long after starting even with no files to scan.

~ - SkywalkerNETGEAR ExpertCan you try this pre-release ReadyDLNA 1.1.0 addon, and see if it fixes the crashing issue?
