  • Here is the solution:

    1) No Jumbo Frames

    2) No AFS on ReadyNAS shares (exception is Time Machine

    3) Delete all cahced logins in Keychain

    4) Connect via SMB

What I had to go through to get this is unforunate but after having tested on my device and another friend over the web, I can confirm this will resovle the issues.

The products running RAIDiator had already been discontinued for years by the time Sierra came out.

Our testing shows RAIDiator-x86 4.2.x works with Sierra.

Technology moves on. I'm disappointed Apple Macs I spent a lot on some years ago now can't run Sierra.

  • You can run Sierria on any mac from 2010 on and can even tweak an earlier one. That's irrelevant as you can use a mac with an early operating system and Apple hasn't EOLed devices this expensive they quickly. I could list for you the problems with Netgear units and the lack of quality control on routers etc to counter your sarcasm.
