Readynas-NV+ - cannot open new share in windows 10 or MacOS
A freind gave me a Readynas-NV+, RNV2-S2-0000. Raidator 4.1.14 Here is what I did:
1. Deleted all shares.
2. Created a new share callem home-videos, and uploaeded videos.
3. Files are accessible from Wndows 10, MacOs and HTTP browser, No problem.
4. Created a new share called 'pictures', and set it to the same file protocols as 'home-viceos'.
5. I can see the new share in windows and MacOS, but I cannot open it.
Windows 10 is Asking for network credentials, and I have no clue where to find them.
MacOs: "The operation can't be completed because the original item for "pictures" can't be found."
6. I can upload files and open files using a HTTP browser.
7. I tried rebooting readynas and run filecheck, but to no aval.
8. logs don't reveal anything.
I hope someone can tell me what to do.

Are you using share security mode or user security mode?
If you are using share security mode, you should switch to user.

I had share security mode, but switching to user security mode I can't access any of the shares. So I switched it back to share security mode, and can again access only the first share I created.

Changing to user mode is more than just changing the Security Mode setting. You also need to fix permissions.
See e.g. https://readynas.sphardy.com/2010/09/how-to-migrate-to-user-security-mode/There's also some articles on configuring permissions on that site that go more in depth.
