ReadyNas NV+ 1.0 always has been very slow

Actually, I think I may have jumped the gun a bit. At the time, I was looking at the network traffic my PC was also running a backup to the Synology drive, so the total traffic coming into the target device was 40+ MB/sec. Now that the backup is done, the NFS alone is only producing a maximum of 18 MB/sec. Which is still FAR less than what I expected.

The CPU does not look that bad now:

So, I am not sure what else could be causing it to run like this.

So, NFS is better for bulk copy, however, I am not sure what else could be causing such slow speeds. Since the Synology device is able to register 40+ MB/sec performance, I think my network can deliver the packets if put to the task. So, the slow down must be with ReadyNas NV+.
