Readynas NV+ dead after latest update
Applied the update and left it to do its stuff. Checked my email saying "Please reboot your ReadyNAS device to continue with the update process." and now it will not power on. Only thing I've tried is reattaching the power cable multiple times with no results.
Just wondering what my options are. On the back it says its a RND4000 v3 and I've had it god knows how many years.
I've got 3 2tb hard drives in xraid configuration and I really don't want to lose the data.

- When you try to power on what happens? Do any lights come on? If so what pattern do you see? Does anything come up on the LCD?
- Nothing happens at all unfortunately. It seems to me completely dead.
- Is it registered (see Online Submission link in my sig)? Depending on when you purchased it, it may/may not still be under warranty. Did you purchase it brand new?
- I just checked my old email. I purchased it brand new in 2010.
I've just now registered the unit and opened a support ticket as its still under warranty.

Wait and see now what happens. - Just want to update this thread to say I received a new psu from Netgear this morning and now the unit is back in working order.
It's taken less than 33 hours since creating a support ticket to getting the unit up and running again and I have nothing but praise for the ease and speed with which Netgear have carried out this task.
