ReadyNas NV disk readability on readynas nv+ v1

Hi,
I have a ReadyNAS NV which has apparently had a power supply failure. I shut it down from the adin screen while on UPS during a power failure. When the power returned I am unable to turn it back on. I tried removing disks; but when I press the power button nothing happens: no lights, no fan, nothing. I ordered a new power supply from UK, but I also wanted to know if the disks I created with x-raid (4 x 2tb) could be read and usable on the Readynas NV+ v1. I know that they cannot be read on the V2.
I was hoping to be able to remove disks 1-4 and insert them in their respective slots on a V1 and go from there. I understand that I would need to have a firmware level which supports 2tb drives (not sure which version would be correct. I can pick up a V1 on ebay and was wondering if what I propose is feasible..
Any tips and/or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The NV+ v1 is an evolutionary improvement over the NV.

Yes you can migrate the disks across from an NV to a NV+ v1.

Do note though that the condition of units purchased from places such as eBay can vary greatly.

If the disks and array are good support can recover data via e.g. a RN314. You would need somewhere to backup the data to and to wait for instructions from support before inserting the disks.
