In Frontview go to Shares > Share Listing > Share name, select the CIFS protocol for the share and see if the "Allow guest access" checkbox is checked.

Hmm, there is no checkbox for guest access :(

Under Security > Security Mode which mode are you using?
Share mode has long been EOL and I suspect that is what you are using.
