    UPDATE: Problem solved

     

    Befaor I started throwing miney at this issue, I remembered about the memory.  I ordered a cheap replacement of Amazon and installed today.  The box wakes up and is running as normal now.  Next step is to look to migrate my data to a new location.

I appreciate that StephenB, I'll consider those options if I'm unable to get the USB option working..  I'm currently looking for a compatible usb drive at the moment.
