ReadyNAS nv+ v2 - factory reset after every restart, disks locked, erasing not finished after 6 days
At first I need to say that I read threads concerning same symptoms but still have no solution.
History:
Have ReadyNAS nv+ v2 worked well 6 years. Month ago got alert and decide to change disk #2. Backup all data, and replace Disk #2 with another, same model - but not new (worked at Synology NAS 1 yr ago)
At the same time I clean NAS (had dust inside).
Seems like disks was installed not at order, I try just to erase disks and apply factory reset - but not successfull - erasing tooks too much time.
So, now:
After any reboot NAS fall into factory reset, build one volume, report as good - but after next reboot repeat it again.
All disk - WD RED WD30EFRX
Yes, I know about erasing with RAIDar and did it several times with no results.
Last time I start it 6 days ago and now erasing still "in proccess", not complited.
6 days!
So, have two questions:
1. What I should to do to erase all data and use my disks?
2. What I should to do in case if I want to connect those disks to my notebook via USB?

So you have the v2 (runs RAIDiator 5.3.x)
The disks can be unlocked using hdparm e.g.
# hdparm --security-unlock NETGEAR /dev/sda
# hdparm --security-disable NETGEAR /dev/sda

Honestly, I don't catch exactly what I should to do with commands you suggest to apply.
How to switch into hdparm in ReadyNAS? Can you just suggest any manual for noobie?

Maybe it would be easier if I did it then.
I have sent you a PM.
