ReadyNAS NV+ won't power up
My question is I bought it Jan of 2007 before Infrant was bought by NetGear. Do I still have a valid warranty with this unit? By power up, I mean it is dead. As if the power cord was not plugged in...
These things must be on some kind of countdown timer set for right about now... walked in this morning and mine was out, no lights, no fans. Mine is in the S/N(MAC) range as well. Called 888-NETGEAR after reading this article and explained the situation to multiple people. Had to push them a little because I bought this device so long ago and its out of warranty. But, they eventually processed an RMA and I should be getting the new device/PSU soon.
