There was a firmware update between the two messages, and in an older firmware release we were having some issues with the FSCK. The latest version of that we included should help prevent the corruption, but the messages its an extra preventive measure to force the changes to the FS.
I was able to get your volume mounted as read-only, so I hope you were able to get your data backup from it.
