Readynas OS 6.6 drives wont spindown
Hi, I recently upgraded to OS6.6 on my RN104, never had a problem with disk spindown before but soon as I have upgraded the disks dont really spindown anymore, they spindown for about 10 seconds then...

it's incredible, all this time and lot of firmware updates, and the problem is not resolved.
This is a basilar function, not asking for the moon!

I have the RN214 with the OS 6.8.0 which has still the issue that wakes up after 1min that the disks have been spinned down.
The problem seemed to go away in 6.62 or something like that.
But it is back in 6.7x and 6.8.
I gave up already. just disabled the spindown function as with this problem the spindown function is basically useless and age your hard drive much quicker.
netgear, I just want a NAS that works efficiently and reliably, without your stup*d featured app.
is it that hard ? ffs.
