ReadyNAS OS6 Log Location SSH
Hi all,
Whilst I can download all the logs on older 4.2 releases you could easily see all the logs including kernel and dmesg logs under /var/logs. However, on OS 6 this location contains very limited logs.
Does anybody know where they have moved to?
Thanks...

OS6 uses systemd, so you view the logs using journalctl.

Thanks.
I need to find some guides on using it to show specifics then...
There must be a place where the old style logs are kept since this is what you get when the logs are downloaded through frontview.

Some are still in /var/log. My guess is that the others are constructed on the fly (extracted via journalctl).
You can get some idea on how it works from here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/No-more-web-GUI-after-upgrade-to-6-2-0/m-p/944763/highlight/true#M77155
