ReadyNas Pro Business Edition - Raidar 6.5 can't find Netgear storage
I just upgraded my mac os to Catalina. I have been using Raidar 4.38 to access my ReadyNas Pro Business Edition. This version is not compatible with Catalina so I downloaded and installed Raidar 6.5 ...
Maybe I didn't explain myself well. We are able to access the files on the server. I just can't get to the front panel because Raidar can not find the server.

Just browse to https://nas-ip-address/admin in your browser.
Though based on other posts here, RAIDar will work on Catalina. Generally when it fails (on any PC), it is because there is some form of internet security/firewall that is blocking its discovery packets (or the responses from the NAS). On a Windows PC, that might be Avast Antivirus, or Kaspersky Internet Security, or Firewall software. I'm not a Mac user, so I don't know what packages might interfere with the traffic on a Mac.
The firmware on the server is RAIDiator 4.2.15. Do I need to upgrade?
You are way out of date, but that's probably not the cause for the RAIDar issue. The current RAIDiator software is here: RAIDiator-x86-Version-4-2-31. There is also a method for updating your NAS to OS6. If you do that, you lose all support from Netgear (but not this forum) and you have to back up and restore the data, but you gain a more up to date OS (including it's Linux base with SMB3), more up to date apps, and the ability to move your drives straight to a newer OS6 based NAS if yours quits working.
