Is it possible to create an OS partition on a blank disk (perhaps the same size), and then replace the OS partition on the real data drives? (perhaps manually copying selected configuration files)????
Just wondering. The risk with this approach is that you can't be sure you've gotten it all. There still could be some trap door left open that could be exploited later.
