ReadyNas Pro recognised by RaidAR but no access ?? - SOLVED-
My NAS has been running fine for two years
All of a sudden I cannot connect to it anymore, no shares, no admin panel, not even access via direct IP address
When I run RaidAR it finds the NAS at the right IP adress, but all my 8 TB of data is not reachable anymore??
How to troubleshoot and/or repair?
thnx
Peter

- vandermerweMasterDid you reboot the Nas? You may have to force a power off.
Is it still under warranty(5 years) and have you put in a support request?
Do you have a backup?
We're there any error messages , especially relating to disk problems? - PeterDorrAspirant

But my guess/hope is that that the NAS might be dead, the data on the HD should not be corrupted??

I wouldn't do anything else unless instructed by support either through your case or here on the forum.
You are trying access at ipaddressofnas/admin? - PeterDorrAspirantSOLVED !!
Had a very friendly chat with Arthur from Netgear Support and he pointed me in the right direction.
My network setup had changed slightly (added an AppleAirport Time Capsule) and that had changed my network range outside of the fixed IP which I had given the NAS.
So connected the NAS with a direct cable through my laptop and changed the IP to be flexible instead of static, and I am back in business.
Pfewwww, thanks guys at Netgear. Great suggestion!
