ReadyNAS RN202 activity light flashing 30 minutes after boot up
Firmware 6.5.1, RN202
At each boot of my RN202 NAS Box (RAID 1 2TB disks with 400GB of data on), the blue activity light flashes for 30 minutes and i can hear the disks being accessed. I have bit rot switched on all shares.
I can still access all my data in this time. is the system doing an automatic file scrub, everytime on boot? If so how do i do find out? I cant see anything in the logs

Are you doing clean shutdowns, or just disconnecting power?

Hi Stephen
I am physically double-clicking the power button on the front of the box to shut down the NAS drive. This should be the same as shutting down the NAS drive through the Admin web page I assume?

Yes, that should be a graceful shutdown.
Though you could try a shutdown from the web ui, and see if that behaves the same way.
