ReadyNas RN212 Powers Up but Not Responsive or Accessible
I have a ReadyNas RN212 that suddenly became inaccessible on the network. None of the computers on the network can "see" the ReadyNas. I attempted to shut down gracefully and reboot, but was unable...

Try powering up the NAS with both disks removed, and see if RAIDar finds the NAS on the network (and reports a no disks status). That will help us sort out if the cause is the chassis failure or something else.

I have removed both disks and powered the unit back up. All 4 lights on the front light up (including the Disk 1 and Disk 2 lights even though there are no disks in the chassis). The unit does not show up on my network. I have run Discover under ReadyCloud and still nothing shows up. I can't get RAIDar to run. It's looking for OpenJDK version 11 or higher even though I have installed OpenJDK version 17.0.2.

This is RAIDar 6.5?

Yes, it is RAIDar 6.5. Attached is a Word document showing:
- The RAIDar and OpenJDK files that I downloaded yesterday
- The RAIDar pop-up error message that I receive when trying to launch RAIDar
- The cmd prompt screen showing the OpenJDK version that is now running

Interesting - looks like a bug that Netgear will need to fix. Marc_V or JeraldM: could you kindly escalate this?
FWIW, my own Win10 systems show this:
java -version java version "1.8.0_201" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_201-b09) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 25.201-b09, mixed mode)
I don't recall installing it (though it is signed by Oracle). This version works with RAIDar 6.5
I have one Win11 machine that didn't have Java installed. I got openjdk 17.0.2 (x64 MSI installer) from https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/#jdk17-windows That gives me the same error you are getting.
