Question

He started to hang after the end of the guarantee, more often when downloading torrents, although I did not usually download more than two at the same time. I did OS REINSTALL after reinstalling the operating system, nothing has changed. Once a day or once in two days, sometimes less often even when not in use. Made Factory default, while the same winchesters are completely cleaned. helped for a couple of days and started all over again. Before that, it worked fine. There were two new&nbsp;winchesters on 2tb. toshiba hdwd 120 and wd wd20ezrz. They are working. They worked in RAID 0. Of the add-ons, only the torrent client transmission was installed, downloaded from the official NETGEAR website.
how do i fix this?

Since the hangs continued after a factory default, it seems to me that this is more likely to be a hardware issue than a software one.
&nbsp;
I'd start by testing the disks in a Windows PC (connecting with either SATA or a USB adapter/dock).&nbsp; WDC's lifeguard software is the best way to test the WD disk.&nbsp; I think you can also run the generic long test on the Toshiba using lifeguard.&nbsp; If you don't know the SMART stats on the drives, you should also look at those.

Another thing you could try is exercising the Duo w/o the torrent app installed.&nbsp; You could use NAS tester for this (setting a high number of loops).&nbsp;&nbsp;http://www.808.dk/?code-csharp-nas-performance

Well, it could be the torrent app.&nbsp; Your NAS doesn't have much memory, and the app might be using it all (perhaps due to a memory leak, perhaps something else).&nbsp;&nbsp;
&nbsp;
So you could try rebooting, and not using the app on the NAS for a few days - and see if the speeds still drop.
&nbsp;
Note that while Netgear distributed the transmission app, they didn't write it - it was written by someone in the forum community.&nbsp; And they don't support third-party apps either.&nbsp; So there isn't anything "officially Netgear" about the app.
