ReadyNAS Ultra 2 LAN slow
Ciao.
I have a Readynas Ultra 2 with 2x WD RED 3 TB.
I used to have the HDs in a Raid 0 configuration... but few days ago without warning I have lost everything.
My previous configuration was the Ultra attached to a Wifi AC router and the PC connected via wifi AC with the router.
The comunication speed between PC and NAS (via wifi) was about 50 MB/s.
Now I have reistalled the OS, did a factory reset and even tested the HDs on a PC to make sure they were fine.
I have now a Raid 1 configuration but I am soffering an issue with speed.
It seems that the LAN connections of the NAS have a problem. I am getting poor performance via 1 Gbps LAN.
On Direct to PC connection via LAN, I get 15 MB/s that immediately drop to zero.
I have tryed both with Jumpo on and off (both on PC and NAS) and the situation doesn't change.
The Cable is CAT 7.
Ethernet are: Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection and Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller,
Please help!

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserI have an WD30EFRX-68EUZN0 running firmware 82.00A82. It does NOT have the idle3 problem.
If you get one that does, you can adjust it easily (WDC has a supported downloadable tool that runs in windows and linux (http://support.wdc.com/product/download ... dsfNas_Red) - alphapapaAspirantThanks!
Then I will tell WD it's ok. - alphapapaAspirantSOLVED!
For some reasons I do not know... I have decided to put back OS6.
I did the same exact steps I did before to instal it and I have used the same LAN connection with the same IP values.
But this time LAN transfer rate is 80 MB/s!!!
I guess was something in the NAS config, since the PC hasn't changes... maybe all those 'factory reset' I did solved the problem..
Thanks again for the support!!!!!!!!
