ReadyNAS Ultra 2 Plus Sometimes Not Accessible in Windows 10
So this has been an ongoing problem but I'm sure there has to be a simple solution.... Sometimes, after restarting Windows 10, I cannot get access to the ReadyNAS shares through Windows 10. RAID...

Are your drives mapped by name or IP address? Many have problems with Windows properly discovering the ReadyNAS (and other brands) by name. I have yet to see anyone with a real solution, as I also suffer this problem. There are two solutions (and doing both is best). Change the mappings to use the IP address instead of the name, and add the name to the Windows HOSTS file. This does require that the NAS always be at the same IP address, which is best done via an address reservation in your router instead of a static IP set in the NAS.
