You are not reading correctly. The first ping failed with "Request Timed Out", so it gives no information about the MTU. Not sure why that happened.

Again, the goal is to find the largest buffer size that returns the normal (successful) "reply from IPADDR bytes=xxx time=y ms TTL=zz" response.
