Readynas ultra 6, dead drive stills shows as working in raidar? And not expanding
Heya, I have a problem I havn't really been able to figure out.. So apparantly my snd drive is dead, I have 3 new 3tb hdds I wanted to expand the nas with, RAIDar, says the drive is working f...
I've tried to remove and reinsert it a couple of times (forgot to say that I had).
Gonna try to upgrade and see if it fixes it, or I'll try the tool for my drive and see what it says.

Did you remove and re-ionsert with power on (so the system knows you did it) or with power off? Doing it with power off will have no effect on this problem unless there was just a bad connection.
So now all updates and installations are done, still havn't got the 2nd 2tb drive to work, now running os6 but my system only shows ~4,5TB of storage out of 11TB is that normal?

According to http://rdconfigurator.netgear.com/raid/index.html I'm supposed to have 7,25TB
Did a volume balancing and now shows ~5,5TB
