readynas usb flash recovery images
Hi Anybody knows where can I download readynas_usb_flash_recovery_4.1.4.img or previous versions? I only found 4.1.8 and 4.1.12, but i need earlier version for v1 readynas. Thanks
I don't think USB Boot Recovery should be tried just yet. Boot Recovery should be tried after exhausting other options to resolve a problem. It doesn't sound like the firmware on the flash is corrupt.

The reason why i went with USb boot recovery because My readynas was not displaying any link in the web admin page (with any browser)(and off course it was not accessable). Tried all kind of boot option. As a last chance i tried the usb boot recovery. After i did a usb boot recovery (4.1.8) i got back the web access, and everything work except the update feature.
The only way I can update is still the usb recovery. I am on the 4.1.12 version, and that is why i was asking where can i found the 4.1.14.

I foolishly did a apt-get upgrade, and have lost the web access too.
Raidar is able to locate the ReadyNas (duo/v1) I can browse the shares, but the web consle is hosed (browser says connection refused). While I was connected, and before the reboot, I realized that SSH was hosed too, and managed to fix it. Looking at what got hosed with ssh -- the sshd user got deleted -- and a top command that showed wierd usernames like #93, I think significant portion of the non-kernal disto has gotten destoryed.
Unless there is a way to flash the latest image via SSH, I think I too would like to get my hands on the USB_flash_image 4.1.14.
*edit*: I saw the admin repeatedly saying "USB Flash is the last option", so with some more google-fu, ended up with the following thread (that has the link for 4.1.14 usb flash image too)
That thread suggested that we can re-install the OS if the firmware is not corrupt. I took that route, as it seemed my problem was the OS screw up not the firmware issue. There are many threads that talk about reflashing after the apt-get upgrade SNAFU, I hope the there is a topic about OS reinstall in such cases, and shows up on the top of google search. I suspect way too many people are ending up flashing the image without needing to do it.
