ReadyNAS VN+ RND4000 boot problem
I usualy keep my NAS shut down only turning it on when I need to do backups or access files.
Last time I tried to turn it on it froze on 'booting....'.
In a probably wrong move i decided the best aproach was to reinstall the OS, but now the system hangs in this process (reinstalling FW please wait..).
After some more reading in these foruns I took the drives out and checked them 1 by 1 on a different system. All seems to be fine.
I now believe that probably I have a free space issue on the system partition and a Tech Boot is required to clear some data, probably logs.
If someone could help me on this it would be much appreciated.
Cheers.

Are you comfortable with SSH?

I have used in the the past, and I know some basic linux, but I the problem is how to get ssh access without a proper boot.

Well, you can use tech support mode and telnet in.
The telnet user/pass is root/infr8ntdebug
From there you'd mount the OS partition using
# start_raid.sh
# mount /dev/md0 /sysroot
