ReadyNas102 - Volume Root Usage
Version 6.10.7 Only apps on RN102 are iDrive and Resilio sync. I removed iDrive last evening. At beginning of 2022 I noticed my iDrive was not backing up from RN102. I reinstalled it (or tried to...

Yes, it's definitely /var/log.
Try going deeper, that would help sort this out:
root@NAS:/var/log# du -h /var/log 0 /var/log/news 112K /var/log/apt 0 /var/log/fsck 436K /var/log/frontview/backup 3.1M /var/log/frontview 0 /var/log/samba/cores/nmbd 0 /var/log/samba/cores/smbd 0 /var/log/samba/cores 752K /var/log/samba 3.2M /var/log/apache2 2.3M /var/log/readynasd 39M /var/log/journal/6c58f1a31323453ea933c21fd1d53cbe 39M /var/log/journal 0 /var/log/clamav 0 /var/log/audit 50M /var/log
Anything in /var/log/clamav can be safely deleted, the RN102 no longer has the AV service.

I added this screenshot of some other directories. It looks like my "apps" and "var" are quite large, but I don't know why that would have anything to do with my root usage. Anyway, I thought this might help someone with the diagnosis. The messages definitely started about the time that I "reinstalled" the iDrive app, so it seems like the two things are related.

apps is a mount point (the actual storage is on the data volume), so that is not a concern.
var on the other hand is part of the root file system, and it is too full. Here is what mine looks like (also an RN102, which is running 6.10.7 firmware)
root@RN102:~# cd /var root@RN102:/var# du -d1 -h 2.3M ./ftp 8.0K ./www 92M ./backups 16K ./spool 70M ./cache 9.6M ./readynasd 4.0K ./local 4.0K ./mail 4.0K ./tmp 4.0K ./opt 4.0K ./cores 16K ./netatalk 243M ./lib 59M ./log 475M . root@RN102:/var#

Here is what mine shows:
It just looks like all of mine must have more junk than yours (cores/lib/ftp) but the big problem looks like "log." Any thoughts on what I need to do here? I very much appreciate your assistance Stephen B. You are on a ton of these posts and it's great that you help so many people with this stuff, it's extremely generous of you. Thanks again.
