NETGEAR ReadyNAS do have a 90-Day Full Support contract included upon purchase from an authorized reseller and also has a 3 Year Limited Hardware Warranty for the RN200 series.
We understand how frustrating this would be not being able to access your data but contacting Support can definitely assist you with this. A case would be escalated from Support if your NAS is still under the 90 Days Phone Support. However, if the NAS is past that Support period you will have to purchase the Data Recovery contract.
