But RAIDar's Scan and Setup still work. Browse still gives:
\\ 192.168.168.168
The network location cannot be reached. For more information...
I was Googling for some info and one thread said to be sure the Computer Browser service was started. Mine is set to automatic but not started, I tried starting it and it said that it started it and immediately shut it off again, that that can happen when the service is not needed.
It also said to set exclusions for the Windows Firewall, but in Exceptions checking the box by File and Printer Sharing doesn't seem to do anything for me.
If I try mapping the box's name to a network share, it says "The drive could not be mapped because no network was found." FTP still works to the IP.
So it is definitely my WinXP setup - has a broken machine/network finder?
