Readys NAS nv+ destroys my hard drives
i have 2x1.5tb and 2x2tb hard dirves which i set the nas to erase so i let it do the job and when i can back to it it sayed it had been done but for some reason only 1 of my hard drives is usable an...

Ok, do you have ssh enabled?
What about the boot menu. That is unusual that you cannot scroll through the menu options. Do you definitely get into the boot menu and are you pushing the correct buttons. You need to release the reset button after the boot menu message appears then use the backup button to scroll through the options.
Normally with locked drives the nas will factory default on each boot, is that happening?
If it is then you won't be able to use ssh to fix this unless it is already enabled ( if it is locked drives) , you would need someone to remotely access the nas and unlock the drives. That may be possible.
