Readys NAS nv+ destroys my hard drives
i have 2x1.5tb and 2x2tb hard dirves which i set the nas to erase so i let it do the job and when i can back to it it sayed it had been done but for some reason only 1 of my hard drives is usable an...
It is not clear whether your problem is locked drives.
As you have no data on the drives that you need to retrieve, there is no harm in trying a factory default. If the problem is locked drives it will not fix it though although the unit should factory default. If the problem is bad drives then this may become more obvious.
