Remote Wake on Lan

OK, I have already set up Port forwarding, which I would have expected to be working as I am able to use WOL from within my LAN.
Anyway, I will follow the instructions given.
One question though, is how do I test access to the Readynas from outside my LAN?
I would have expected something like http://INTERNETIPADDRESS/readynas etc etc
