Replacing PSU brick did not solve V+12 Power Is Out Of Normal Range errors
Hi,
I've been getting bursts of "V+12 Power Is Out Of Normal Range" messages for a couple of months now. Sometimes they last for a couple of days and then go away for a few weeks, sometimes they last for only a few hours. The unit has been connected to two different UPS units, without making a difference.
I replaced the PSU brick (as suggested in other posts), but the errors returned. Not immediately though. And the errors show with both 1 and 2 disks in the unit. I'm running RAIDiator-x86-4.2.31.
At this point I'm guessing that the PSU on the chassis itself is failing. Is that a fair assumption?
Kind regards,
Patrick

The brick is the PSU. But it could be an issue with the system board on the NAS, or possibly the NAS power connector.
The system board isn't repairable, so it sounds like you'll need a new NAS.

I figured as much, but it doesn't hurt to get an expert opinion :)
Thanks!
