[RESOLVED] Can't SSH login with Root and admin pass
Hello, I've read that to SSH the NAS I had to login with root and the admin password (that was dupplicated at the time SSH was enabled). When doing so I get access demied login as: root roo...
- I just tried the password "password" and I worked, I then realized that the admin user was still active and that the password was never changed..
Sorry for that noob question / answer.
The procedure is still pretty much the same, though the location in the new UI of the config backup option is slightly different. Though as you have remembered the password now doing a factory default wouldn't be necessary.
Above I suggested an OS Re-install which leaves data intact, but resets the admin and root passwords and some network settings.
