Restoring Password on ReadyNAS
Hi!
I have a ReadyNAS Ultra-6. Unfortunately my main computer karked it a month or so ago and bricked it's hdd. :( This lost me a lot of passwords and such (I had most of them backed up - I thought I had ALL backed up, but seems I missed this one). Since then, I haven't been able to get into the setup screen on the browser (when you click "setup" from RAIDar). I did the 'password recovery' thing, quite a few times (probably 10 times over the day today), however, the email NEVER arrives (My email is the 'catchall' to the url, it's also got NO spam filter or spam-box, so there's no way it could have got caught by a spam filter or anything).
I don't understand where the emails are. I tried to put an incorrect email into the retrieval system just to see whether it sent an email to any address I put in, but, that didn't work, it only accepted my main email address (as expected). Seems I'm answering the check question correctly, but, the email just never arrives!!!
If anyone has any ideas, i would really appreciate any help you could give me that doesn't start with 'reformat the system'!
Thanks,
L.
