RN 312 Firmware 6.6.1 Strange backup errors

Ever since the update, I keep receiving the following error:

 

Backup job Daily is already in progress. Consider adjusting backup schedule.  

 

I have a daily backup job (external usb) that has alway run first thing in the morning when the ReadyNAS boots.  It's run fine for years.  I adjusted the time to two hours later with no better results.  Right now the admin page says the packup is in progress, but it's really not. I have to reboot and manually start the backup job.

    Hi sfpegasus.

     

    Do you have other back-up jobs?

     

    Can you create a test back-up job. Just want to isolate if its affecting all the back-up process or just an isolated one.

      This is apparently bigger than a couple of backup errors.  Disabling the antivirus has returned my system back to normal.  The antivirus upgrade in 6.6.1 is buggy as all hell.  It's apparently the cause of my other post "ReadyNAS 312 ERROR System: Fan fan2 in enclosure Internal speed is below threshold".

       

      Monitoring the antivirus definition file updates led me to find that my failures were happening right after these updates.
