RN Duo v2 and Windows 10 SMB VERY slow access
Under Win 7 I could delete files from a share at around 80-100 files/sec. Win 8.1 dropped this to around 40-50 files/sec. With Win 10, I get 2 files/sec if I'm lucky! Any ideas?

Hi Mothman1,
Is the device up to date? If you will directly connect your computer (running on Windows 10) to the ReadyNAS, will the transfer speed change or stay the same?
Looking forward to hear back from you.
Kind regards,

Running 4.1.15-T3.
Direct connect (usually connected via a gigabit switch) makes no difference, still only 2 files/sec.
I tried FTP (via Android phone) and I get roughly 30 or 40 files/sec deleting.
Any clues?

You have a v1, not a v2. The labels are confusing, so please read the following if you want more details: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/
But there is no doubt - v1 products run 4.1.x firmware,. and v2 products run 5.3.x firmware.
Can you use NAStester to measure the read/write performance? (http://www.808.dk/?code-csharp-nas-performance)

Sorry - you're right, its a v1.
Transfer test:
400 MB blocks: Write 18.2 MB/s, Read 32 MB/s
1 MB blocks: Write 17 MB/s, Read 29 MB/s

Your access speeds are actually quite good for a duo v1.
I'm not sure why file deletions would be slower. Also I am wondering why the file deletion speed is a concern - are you often doing bulk deletions?
