Sorry, meant to say that I'd tried that as well. When I do it returns the following error:
System error 1272 has occurred.
You can't access this shared folder because your organization's security policies block unauthenticated guest access. These policies help protect your PC from unsafe or malicious devices on the network.
My understanding is that this is a change introduced by Microsoft into Windows 10 to disable Guess access to SMB2.

Ah wait! OK, I'd missed your reference to changing the password. Funnily enough I had changed it back to Password to save my fingers from typing in the more complex password I was using. I've just changed it but before trying your suggestion I updated Credential Manager and now it's working. Thank you!
