Hello,
Without any clue to solve my problem I finaly manage to do a factory reset from the boot menu.
I follow the informations from http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/22892 and everything seems fine.
I will think twice before applying the next firmware upgrade, it's a lot of work to get the device working normally :-(

There is a shutdown fix in the changelog for 6.4.1-T35 for RN100. It might be worth a try.

but should I install RN100 firmware on an RN102? And I couldn't find the firmware update, not on the website and there is no regular update via the admin page of my NAS. Could you show me, where I can find this?
Thanks a lot.

RN100 is the whole family, which includes RN102.
Beta release are in the forum, and are manually installed - they won't show up in the firmware update. You'll find OS 6 betas here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/ReadyNAS-Beta-Release/bd-p/readynas-beta-releases?topic-zoom=Public%20ReadyNAS%20OS%206.x%20Beta&sort-by=&date-range=all#all-topics-top
The first post is the 6.4.1 beta information (fixes, change logs, download links).
It is beta, but T35 has been stable on my RN102. Some folks have found it resolved 6.4.0 issues they were seeing (I'm one of them), but others haven't.
What disk model(s) are you using?
