The best option is to use paid netgear support. Of course a factory reset/restore the NAS from backup will work also.

I've tried https://nas-ip-address/fwbroker as well. Unfortunately without success. All I receive is:
ERROR 6001010007
Couldn't connect to server

Hi Stephen,
many thanks. As recommended by you, I had used the RN102's boot options and performed a "factory default reboot process". The NAS is "empty" now, but without data loss, as all the data were backuped ( what I do regularly ). After reconfiguration ( from now onwards I'll also do a backup of the RN102's configuration ;-) and copying back the data, all is fine.
