RN102 Stuck accessing External USB 3 Hard Disk
Hi everybody,
I have an RN102
- 6.4.1
- 2x3TB WD Red
- 1 external 2TB WD red in a USB 3 enclosure
I use the external drive for Torrent and backup. Lately it has become more and more difficult and now it is impossible to access the RN102 web interface if I select the external USB.
Even via SSH, when I browse with the terminal to the USB Disk, it just gets stuck.
However the Torrent client works fine and as well the backup jobs are being carried out, I do not receive any error notifications.
Any help here?

Have you checked the USB disk with your PC to see if there is a problem with it?
Which filesystem are you using on the USB diskWhich services and apps are you running on the NAS?

Hi theluke79,
Does this happen if you will connect the said external USB storage to another USB port? Perhaps test it with another USB storage to further isolate this problem.

Hello folks, on the RN102 only the Antivirus and BitTorrent are running, nothing else.
The 3TB USB is on a Linux partition, the FS used is UFSD. The disk health check SMART is succesful.
I changed the USB port and rebotted, it seems to be solved now, I will keep you posted.
Tell me please if there are other test to do
