Jan 14, 2016Right after this post i found this one: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS/rn104-updated-to-6-4-0-and-possible-solution-to-random-lock-ups/m-p/993214#M95432

Hello yveZ79,
In case you get the same problem, please post the firmware version you have on the NAS, if you already have disabled AntiVirus and if you have enabled any other apps in the admin page of the NAS.
Welcome to the community!

Hi JennC, Thank you :)
I updated to 6.41. The thing is, when i want to access the admin page, it says it is version 6.40 but when logged in, it says version 6.41
I deleted all snapshots and deleted all schedules for them. Also, all apps are turned off except transmission and it is not having and files running/downloading.
Also, my FTP transfer rate as dropped from an average of 40MB/s to +/-8MB/s....so something is really wrong. I am assuming it is not hardware as it started right after i updated from 6.40 to 6.41, but i cannot rule anything out yet. Thanks!

Perhaps try ReadyNASOS 6.4.2-T72 (Beta 2)
Can you send in your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)?- Retired_MemberJan 15, 2016
After upgrading to the beta FW i am now not able to access the NAS at all. It is pingable, but admin page timeouts and none of the shares have come online anymore.
Logs sent from before the FW upgrade.
