RN104 6.5.0 - SMB write broken (READ is fine), FTP times out, HTTP upload impossibly slow 180kbps
RN104
6.5.0
Windows 10
SMB writes creates empty files of the same size of actual files.
SMB read is fine
FTP just times out on reading the directory info
HTTP upload which is what I am left with is incredibly slow @ 180kbps, taking 13 hours for 1GB....
The admin page will go offline during HTTP upload which completely kills the upload anyway. No issues with reading from any devices, just unable to add any new data to the NAS at all!! I have disabled any/all apps/protocols other than HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/SMB/UPnP.
Anyone have a solution to this error please?

Hello Lacesso,
Are you getting all these problems on all shares of the NAS?
How do you access the NAS? Is that via wireless or the computer is wired to the switch/router where the NAS is?

Thanks for reply.
I think this is an issue with the insider version of w10 as I have no issues on other networked devices. Ftr though it is all shares and WiFi or cable.
I will look for a fix later and post if I find one.- JennCNETGEAR Employee Retired
Hello Lacesso,
You're welcome. You might also want to disable firewall security software on the computer. And maybe restarting SMB?
