RN104 Numerous Problems - quid pro quo #24538394
Here's a quick rundown of the state of my RN104 and how I got here. Hopefully it might help someone (but not very likely). I had my Nas since May 2013. 3 x 3TB Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 ST3000DM001...

quick question/suggestion
Since this issue - whilst apparently software related - is reportedly only hurting a "limited number" of people using RN104s, why not RMA the impacted units and replace them ?
- if its only a "limited" number of users then it shouldn't cost much to Netgear
- you would have all the failing units you could wish for for analysis..... so the issue could be replicated
- Netgear might even get some goodwill for dealing with the issue.
Thoughts ?
