RN10400 Error do_exit+8ec
HI,
I have a problem with my NAS. During FW upgrade I get an error after boot
Error do_exit+8ec
There is topic on the forum, but without solution.
Every time I made USB recovery it is no recognized by NAS. Booting from USB and fail.
Do I need special type of pendrive?

What firmware were you running, and what were you upgrading too?
Some pen drives don't seem to work - unfortunately I've never seen a list of ones that do.

This error suggests that the system has 6.6.0 on the internal flash and that the serial number is missing.
USB Boot Recovery to 6.6.1 should get it to a state where it will boot.
There is a way we can try to boot off USB into a debug state to troubleshoot rather than do the USB Boot Recovery. I'll send you a PM with details on this. I've found some systems which claim to fail to boot off USB, boot off a USB with these debug options.If it won't boot off a USB key then there's two options:
1. If original purchaser from an authorised reseller contact support and if it's sitll under warranty they may decide to RMA it.2. Another method to try to fix it. I can discuss what's involved with this via PM if required.
